Driver

PART TIME - 20 hours/week

Schedule:  Monday through Friday: 5pm-9pm or 6pm-10pm

$15.50/hour plus shift differential for evening shift!

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. To provide safe and clean transportation to and from meals, appointments, outside meetings and residences on the advice of therapy and medical staff.
2. To provide delivery of mail and supplies as needed.
3. To deliver patient medications to various program areas.
4. To purchase small items for patients with the advice of therapy and medical staff.
5. This person must be able to learn limited computer tasks like but not limited to checking emails and completing work orders on a computer.
6. Must be available during off duty hours and to the supervisor to perform other duties.
7. Responsible for keeping the vehicles clean inside and out.

1. Must be able to climb up and down stairs repeatedly.
2. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. In and out of vehicles and up and down stairs.
3. Must be able to drive long distances or for extended periods of time.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Must be 21 years of age or older.
2. Must produce and maintain a valid driver’s license in accordance with Driving Standards Policy
3. Must meet minimum requirements on Motor Vehicle Reports in accordance with Driving Standards Policy.
4. If recovering, a minimum of one year of continuous sobriety is preferred.
5. Current CPR and First Aid certification or obtaining these certifications within 180 days of starting employment.
6. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

1. Must be able to get along with clients and all staff.
2. Must be able to work flexible hours.
3. Must be able to read maps and navigate.
