Carondelet Holy Cross Hospital is seeking a skilled RN to join our Emergency Department team. This dynamic role requires the ability to provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.
Responsibilities:
- Implements and monitors patient care plans, ensuring seamless coordination of care across disciplines
- Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate, providing timely updates to the healthcare team
- Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care
- Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders, demonstrating exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team, facilitating a smooth transition back to home or community-based care
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid current Arizona Nursing License or compact state license and ability to become Arizona Licensed in 30 days
- 1 year of professional nursing experience in an acute care setting, preferably in an Emergency, Critical Care, Telemetry RN, or MSO RN role
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS & CPI certifications within 90 days
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred
