Key Responsibilities
- Develop and expand business in the international ocean freight sector, focusing on LCL and FCL services.
- Identify and analyze client needs to provide customized logistics solutions with a commitment to service excellence.
- Actively prospect for new business within the assigned territory to drive revenue growth and exceed sales targets.
- Manage and nurture existing customer relationships, ensuring long-term partnerships and continued business expansion.
- Conduct sales calls, create and maintain a targeted prospect list, and develop strategic business relationships.
- Work closely with operations, pricing, and customer service teams to ensure smooth execution of client shipments.
- Handle RFPs, prepare SOPs based on customer requirements, and identify new business opportunities through proactive outreach.
- Develop pricing strategies and deliver compelling sales presentations tailored to client needs.
- Represent CaroTrans at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to enhance market presence and client engagement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Logistics, or a related field, OR at least 2 years of experience in international freight forwarding and logistics sales (Preferred).
- Proven track record in sales within the NVOCC, freight forwarding, or logistics industry.
- Strong knowledge of LCL and FCL services, with experience in multi-modal operations preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence decision-makers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems such as Salesforce.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively plan sales activities.
- Resides within or near the Miami, FL area and has an established network within the logistics industry.

Salary : $60,000 - $70,000
