In-Seat Server position for the High Point Rockers and Carolina Core FC at Truist Point
We are looking for professional, friendly, engaging, and service-oriented In-Seat Servers, they are responsible for providing excellent customer service while taking and delivering food orders to our guests in our premium seating areas.
Primary responsibilities:
- Greet and interact with customers in order to assure exceptional customer service.
- Inform guests of specials and menu offerings
- Suggestively sell and up sell items.
- Verify I.D. on all customers ordering alcohol.
- Deliver food and beverages from kitchen and bar to guests in a timely matter
- Ensure customer satisfaction with orders once delivered
- Prepare final bill, present check to guest, accept payment, process credit card charges
- Must meet state and local health requirements for food handlers and alcoholic beverage services.
- Maintains a clean, neat and safe work area.
- Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor
QUALIFICATION/SKILLS:
All applicants must be at least 18 years of age. (at least 16 for concession runners)
Must be able to interact verbally and listen attentively to co-workers and supervisors.
Must work well in a team environment.
Ability to work independently and in a high stress, fast paced environment.
Ability to follow oral and written direction.
Must be able to perform simple mathematical calculations.
Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English
PREFERRED:
6 months experience in food preparation in a fast paced environment
Some cash handling experience
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for periods of up to four (4) hours in length and have the ability to bend and lift up to 30 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 50 pounds. Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to guests and other employees.
Must be able to go from warm to cold climates (workstation to coolers) and work in extreme heat. Hours may be extended or irregular to include nights, weekends and holidays.

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
