What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Warehouse Worker position at Carousel Hospitality?
Job Summary:
Carousel Hospitality at Truist Point, Home of the High Point Rockers and Carolina Core FC is seeking seasonal Warehouse Workers. This position is seasonal with operations and availability from mid-March to October of each season. The hours will vary for this position between 20 - 40 per week throughout the season with days, evenings, nights and weekends required as needed. Schedules will vary based upon business needs.
Under the Leadership of the Director of Concessions or General Manager, the Warehouse Workers are responsible for maintaining a clean, organized warehouse, while managing the flow of orders and deliveries from vendors and F&B requisition orders to the stands, portables, and club premium areas throughout the venue. Additional responsibilities include daily and weekly ordering, maintaining vendor relations, and communicating with vendors and suppliers. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Manage all elements of warehouse operations including but not limited to staff assignments, deliveries, transfer of product following stocking par sheets, and communication with stand supervisors, premium supervisors, and Chefs.
· Follow opening and closing checklists for your designated area.
· Unload any pallets of food/beverage/paper goods and put them away in designated areas, rotating stock FIFO, and verifying dates of expiration.
· Greet and check in any daily deliveries, be aware of delivery schedule and process check-in, ensuring that all items arrive as listed and are in acceptable condition.
· Maintain security and lock safeguards on appropriate areas, i.e. coolers locked, back delivery doors locked, access is maintained and controlled to products and location.
· Maintain transfer/requisition forms and reports for transfer of products to designated locations, ensuring the safety and security of all products.
· Assist with weekly and monthly product inventories following company protocols and procedures.
· Keep condiment carts stocked and clean.
· Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe work area, along with keeping products stocked.
· Ensure all warehouse equipment is operating properly and troubleshoot and report any inoperable equipment to the manager.
· Must meet state and local health requirements for food handlers’ services.
· Complete and oversee special cleaning & repair projects in the warehouse, concessions stands, and premium/picnic locations throughout the venue as assigned.
· Assist with extensive opening and closing seasonal duties as assigned by supervisor.
· Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Other Requirements:
Must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for periods of up to five (5) hours in length and have the ability to bend and lift up to 20 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 75 pounds. Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to guests and other employees. Must be able to go from warm to extreme cold climates (workstation to coolers and freezers) and work in warmer conditions. Hours may be extended or irregular to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
