Position Overview:

The Carousel Enrollment and School Outreach Specialist is an experienced early childhood enrollment representative responsible for promoting early foreign language learning through Carousel Live Online Lessons to daycare, nursery and preschools.

This role focuses on introducing daily 20-minute Spanish or French language lessons, specifically designed for young learners ages 0-5. The Carousel Specialist will work to build strong relationships with Heads of Schools, educators promoting the benefits of incorporating Carousel's engaging online foreign language lessons into their curricula.

About Carousel of Languages:

Carousel of Languages is a New York City-based multi-language program for infants, toddlers, and young children. Established in 2000, Carousel is a leader in early childhood multilingual education, offering lessons in 12 languages. We provide the proven benefits of early exposure to more than one language during the most crucial brain-building and language-learning window, ages 0-5.

For over 25 years, Carousel classrooms have been a laboratory: our curriculum and methodology are continuously tested and refined through daily interactions. We have developed custom teaching materials, honed and expanded our curriculum, and confirmed the efficacy of our teaching system.

Carousel of Languages Teaching System^TM, our signature curriculum, is meticulously designed for ages 0-5. Created by our team of linguists, researchers, and early childhood specialists—and grounded in over two decades of classroom success—the program emphasizes the importance of multisensory learning through verbal, visual, and tactile association.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Outreach Strategy & Execution:

• Develop and execute an outreach plan to promote Carousel’s early childhood curricula and online Spanish/French lessons.
• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly enrollment goals through targeted outreach and relationship building.
• Target daycares, nurseries, and pre-Ks to expand Carousel’s reach for daily 20-minute online lessons.
• Present Carousel’s programs to educators, administrators, and families, highlighting the benefits of multilingual learning.
• Research and identify new business opportunities through networking, postcard distribution, and email marketing campaigns.

2. Reporting & Metrics:

• Track outreach activities and enrollment statistics by language, class time, and student age using CRM tools (JackRabbit).
• Report engagement metrics to identify opportunities and enhance conversion rates
• Provide regular updates to management on progress and performance.

3. Customer Relationship Management:

• Build strong relationships with school administrators, educators, and parents through initiatives such as the Carousel Newsletter, Parent Nights, and Personalized Outreach.
• Pay close attention to detail, ensuring accommodations and personalized support for each family and institution.

4. Enrollment & Scheduling (In-Person Classes):

• Manage inquiries about in-person class schedules and enrollments.
• Proactively communicate with families to guide them through the enrollment process via email and phone calls.
• Implement retention strategies with existing families to ensure re-enrollment

5. Product Knowledge & Demonstrations:

• Become an expert on the Carousel Teaching System™, understanding its unique features and benefits.
• Deliver engaging presentations to showcase how our curriculum supports early childhood development.

6. Collaboration with Internal Teams:

• Work closely with the Founder & CEO, Program Director, and other team members to align outreach goals with company objectives.
