Job summary: Fabricating metal components of carousels in-house.
Primary responsibility:
- Reading and understanding product schematics and assembly instructions.
- Cut, bend, and shape metal components using a range of fabrication equipment such as saws, lathes, drill presses, and grinders.
- Assemble and construct metal products, ensuring that the final product is accurate, functional, and meets the required specifications.
- Regularly maintain and clean all metal fabrication tools, equipment, and machinery used in the workshop.
- Collaborate with team members, including machinists, welders, and woodworkers to ensure project deadlines and objectives are met.
- Ensure that quality control standards, assembly and workplace safety standards are met.
Skills / Qualifications:
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in fabrication
- Proficiency in operating heavy machinery
- Ability to comprehend shop drawings and work specifications
- Good dexterity and attention to detail
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects
- Welding certification not required, but a plus
- Experience with drafting (AutoCAD or Solidworks) not required, but a plus
- Experience with operating CNCs not required, but a plus
