Carpe Diem Dental Spa is a modern dental practice featuring advanced dental technologies located in Beachwood, Ohio! We are seeking a full time or part-time OH EFDA (EXPANDED FUNCTION DENTAL AUXILIARY) to join our team! As a EFDA (EXPANDED FUNCTION DENTAL AUXILIARY) at Carpe Diem Dental Spa, you will have the opportunity to learn about the patient’s values and needs to wow them with a unique, relaxing dental experience.
Responsibilities Include:
- Provide exceptional dental care to our patients
- Do fillings on their own patients
- Assist the dentist during procedures
- Greet the patients and make them feel comfortable
- Take patient history
- Help the rest of the staff pull charts, and other tasks as assigned
- Assist in updating and maintaining client dental records
- Educate and guide patients on healthy habits and home care
- Offer patients advice and materials necessary to maintain good dental health
Requirements Include:
- An active EFDA Ohio State license
- A current CPR certification
- Must have some previous experience working for a dentist (internship is OK)
- Must have a positive, friendly attitude
- Must be familiar with Electronic Medical Record computer systems
- Must have great written and spoken verbal skills
