Qualifications
Basic reading, writing, math, and computer skills.
Ability to work in a continuous fast- paced environment with attention to detail.
Ability to communicate effectively and work well with others.
Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs.
FORKLIFT DRIVING EXPERIENCE IS NOT REQUIRED
Essential Functions
- Read and interpret product route slips to ensure raw materials are available at the critical points in production when needed.
- Read and interpret a product location map to ensure finished goods are properly stored.
- Operate stretch wrapping machines.
- Operate hand-held scanners.
- Maintain safe and organized pallet rack storage systems.
- Maintain safe and organized material (cloth) rack storage systems.
- Stack product in accordance with the Company Safe Stacking Policy. Recognize and correct unsafe stacked product.
- Unload trailers.
- Use the scale to weigh product.
Training is provided, prior manufacturing experience not required .
Position is 2nd shift (2 : 30 pm - 11 : 00 pm and receives shift premium of $.50 / hour in addition to hourly pay rate.
Salary : $50
