SUMMARY: Quality Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Quality Manager with maintenance of our Quality System. The goal is to ensure that every product or service the company provides meets a certain set of standards which they determine based on customer expectations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Helps maintain the quality management system IATF 16949 certifications.
- Must have working knowledge of the Quality Core Tools (APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, PPAP)
- Performs root cause analysis and implements corrective action for process related concerns and customer complaints.
- Assist QA Manager with continuous improvement activities to enhance the quality system.
- Participates in development of training materials to build quality awareness.
- Ensures that products and processes comply with the relevant requirements of the quality management system.
- Conducts audits, including creating audits findings reports, review of proper corrective and preventive actions and audit findings closing out reviews.
- Creates and maintains company quality documentation, such as quality procedures, and owns Document Control process.
- Serves as backup for other QA team members as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- HS Diploma or GED; Associate degree in related field - a plus
- 1-3 years related experience in a similar role and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Hands on experience w/IATF 16949/ISO9001
- Must have working knowledge of the Quality Core Tools (APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, PPAP)
- Strong computer skills
- Strong communication skills. Must be a team player, able to interact with employees at all levels
- Ability to travel Domestic if required (light travel)
