Carpenter Co. has a 12 week Research and Development summer internship at our Reinhart Technical Center in Richmond, Virginia. This full time internship position will begin May 27, 2025.
As the successful intern, you will be providing support to the Sustainability group by conducting research under the guidance and supervision of a senior mentor. Throughout the internship, you will gain experience and understanding of operational and commercial application of sustainability concepts in a manufacturing and business setting.
Your additional responsibilities as Research Intern will include :
- Deliver overview and recommendations on tailoring a Carpenter product to appeal to customers
- Complete site-level sustainability data profiles of North American Carpenter facilities
- Interpret data and draw conclusions
- Document findings in report format
