Carpenter Co. has an immediate opening for a Sales Analyst at our Corporate office in Richmond, Virginia. This position is responsible for evaluating and identifying trends in sales by analyzing industry and customer data and developing strategies that improve sales productivity.

As the Sales Analyst, you will be expected to build and maintain business relationships with Consumer Products clients through prospecting, planning and effective communication.
Your additional responsibilities as Sales Analyst will include:
- Retail Link Site Administrator
- Provide documentation and ongoing educational support to the plants who use Retail Link
- Submit NOVA Tickets to edit POs: cancel Line items or POs we cannot ship, extend MABD, etc.
- Work with Compliance to order product samples for require product testing (Annual & New Item).
- Cost Change Scenario - submit cost changes for existing items as needed for Buyer approval
- Supplier One - Submit New Item Set up Omni channel, help manage content, photography, as needed thru Salsify.
- Support new items in quote management system and maintain log.
- Update Duns Report & Certificate of Insurance annually.
- Weekly reporting to Replenishment Managers if in stock numbers are below expectation. Develop CAP.
- Weekly reporting to sales teams (Sales, Inventory, In Stock). Support with analysis, and recommendations.
- Understand Scintilla (Report Builder, Insights, Shopper Behavior, Customer Perception, Digital Landscape)
- Participate in Bi weekly Walmart Replenishment & Sales meetings.
- Run queries to report sales, returns, receiving, and forecast demand planning
- Monthly / Weekly forecasting utilizing (Ladder Plan Report) for Walmart Stores and Walmart.com.
- Submit Tickets as needed to cancel or adjust assigned loads, report carrier no shows, document edits to POs
- Communicate with the plants to help resolve freight flow issues
- TSCP (Walmart Transportation App)
- Pull and distribute Routing Status reports by plant as needed if plant staff is out of office
- Report all carrier No Shows (as reported by plants)
- Reconfirm all adjusted POs for new routing assignment in the event we have to reduce order quantity or extend MABD.
- Work with replenishment manager to adjust orders as needed.
Skills/ Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Marketing
- 3 years of experience in sales analysis
- Proficient in, or preferred understanding of Scintilla, Supplier One, Item 360, and Nova
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
