Carpenter Co. has an opening for a SAP Application Developer at our corporate office in Richmond, Virginia . This position is onsite and is responsible for using the SAP platform to programmatically design, configure and maintain solutions to resolve complex manufacturing procedural problems.
Carpenter Co. employees are committed to working hard to ensure production goals are met while maintaining operations excellence. As the successful candidate, you will be expected to provide support to SAP users on an ongoing basis, which may require travel to manufacturing plants throughout North America.
Your additional responsibilities as SAP Application Developer will include :
- Maintaining the logistics reporting structure in SAP for plants, storage locations and profits centers
- Configuring needed changes for SAP Sales and Distribution, Health and Safety, Rebate and Pricing systems, Material Management, production planning, plant maintenance
- Designing, programming and testing ABAP reports and screen applications
- Reviewing and testing system upgrades
- Troubleshooting resolutions for production problems
