Sewing Machine Operator 1st Shift - HIRING IMMEDIATELY

Minimum Qualifications
- Prior industrial sewing experience required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to follow instructions and work cooperatively with others.
- Ability to walk/stand for up to 10 hours on concrete floors.
- Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, pull, reach, bend, perform repetitive motions with arms & hands, grip, pinch, or squeeze.
Requirements/Essential Functions
- Receive and understand instructions from line/lead person, supervisor, or manager.
- Assemble components and sub-components using specified sewing procedures, into finished/completed customer/consumer product; attach applicable law labels/tags and/or other labels/tags.
- Check final product to ensure quality standards are adhered to, based on customer needs or specifications.
- Assist in cleaning equipment and performing basic preventative maintenance.
- Maintain clean work areas.
- Set up sewing area with adequate supplies.
- Adhere to established department and production procedures.
- Accurately measure products and materials using a standard tape measure.
- In addition to sewing responsibilities, individual will be cross trained to operate other machines such as fiber blower.
- Other duties as assigned.
