Job Summary
The Employer Services Account Associate will learn the core processes of the Employer Services Account Representative. During a training period of 12 or more months, the Employer Services Account Associate will learn about the signatory employer’s obligation to the various collective bargaining agreements and how those agreements determine the appropriate fringe benefits due for specific occupation skill levels. Following established department procedures, the Account Associate will input employee data into a database, reconcile discrepancies and, when necessary, prepares detailed invoices in order to protect the interest of all participants and Trust Funds.
Essential Functions
· Retrieve, review, organize and process daily work received via inbox, digital inbox, bank
lockbox, work flow, email and fax.
· Create file folders and store documents.
· Input data into computer database.
· Analyze and reconcile discrepancies.
· Apply payments to appropriate report transactions.
· Make accounting transaction adjustments as required.
· Write, prepare and mail correspondence to all CFAO customers.
· Review daily and monthly reports to ensure completion of work.
· Communicates with all CFAO customers by telephone, fax, email and virtual conference.
· Update employer records.
· Maintain delinquent employer files.
· Other duties as assigned.
· Achieve expectations for productivity and quality and follow established departmental
procedures.

This is a full-time position in Oakland, CA and in addition to the base wage, this position includes an excellent benefit package with an employer paid retirement plan:
- Carpenters Health and Welfare Trust Fund for California – health and welfare coverage for the employee and eligible dependents, the premium is 100% covered by employer contributions – the current contribution rate is $12.87 per hour or $22,393.80 per year

Eligibility is based on an hour bank and would typically begin 4 months after your employment begins
- Office and Professional Employees Pension Trust Fund – a defined benefit plan with a 5 year vesting period which will provide monthly payments to you for life during your retirement, current hourly contribution is $5.85 per hour up to a maximum of 1,872 hours per year
- Western States 401(k) Retirement Fund of the OPEIU – which you are able to participate in and make pre-tax contributions to as soon as your employment begins

· after 10 years of continuous service you will begin to accrue 4 weeks’ vacation per year
· after 18 years of continuous service you will begin to accrue 5 weeks’ vacation per year
Our office is located at 265 Hegenberger Road, Suite 100, Oakland, CA 94621-1480. We have plenty of free parking, are located close to public transportation and we also have electric vehicle charging available on site.
