We design custom artificial grass landscapes and golf greens and are looking for hard working individuals to assist with the installs.
Job Overview:
Responsible for preparing a site, removing existing vegetation, and installing artificial grass on various surfaces like residential lawns, commercial properties, or sports fields, using specialized tools and materials to achieve a seamless and aesthetically pleasing finish, while adhering to safety guidelines and industry standards. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong work ethic and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscape maintenance and the ability to work with various tools and equipment.
Duties
- Operate and maintain power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Site prep:
- Measuring and marking installation areas.
- Removing existing grass, soil, debris, and weeds.
- Grading and leveling the ground.
- Installing base materials like gravel or crushed stone.
- Managing irrigation systems by relocating or capping off sprinklers.
- Turf installation:
- Unrolling and aligning artificial turf rolls.
- Cutting and seaming turf to fit specific areas using specialized tools.
- Applying adhesive or securing turf with fasteners like nails or staples.
- Installing edging and perimeter borders.
- Finishing details:
- Brushing and combing the turf to create a natural appearance.
- Inspecting for any imperfections and making necessary adjustments.
- Cleaning up the worksite and removing debris
Qualifications
- Experience in landscape maintenance, groundskeeping, or related fields is preferred.
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools associated with landscaping tasks.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: $16.00 - $23.00 per hour
Schedule:
