Bergen Pipe Support. is currently hiring for a full-time Manufacturing Administrator to work out of one of our offices in Donora PA. The Administrator is responsible for performing a full range of duties which include but are not limited to, reception, customer service, order entry, and shipping.
Essential Duties:
Reception
- Answer incoming telephone calls and route callers to appropriate personnel.
- Exhibits calm and concerning demeanor while directing callers.
Customer Service
- Researches, resolves and responds to inquiries/concerns from internal and/or external customers. Escalates complex issues for resolution as appropriate.
- Prints customer orders for production and enters orders into the AS-400 system.
Shipping
- Prepare shipments for postal or commercial conveyance; determines most economical and efficient shipping method.
- Prepare bills of lading; checks items to be shipped against work orders to ascertain that quantities, destination, and routing are correct.
- Trace lost shipments and/or customer claims of lost shipments; initiates proof of delivery documents.
In addition to the above main duties, support work may also be required in other departments, as deemed reasonable by the Operations Manager.
Days/Shift:
- Monday thru Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm
Ideal Candidate:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Background in manufacturing is desirable.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
- Computer skills, including data entry and MS Office.
