Carpenter & Paterson, Inc. is currently hiring for a full-time Catalog Assembly Foreman to work at our Waggaman, LA location. Cat Assembly Foremen oversee the Catalog Assembly function and all personnel assigned to it. Works with the Plant Manager and Assistant Plant Manager to ensure order deadlines are met.

- Train new employees assigned to the department.
- Perform visual product inspections.
- Prioritize orders for processing to ensure all customer requirements are fulfilled.
- Work with manufacturing to match incoming material with the proper work order.
- Inform sales of any shortages, back orders, or any other problems with sales orders.
- Ensure a non-conformance report is raised when applicable and forwarded to QA department for recording, sentencing, and closing out as required.
- Train and verify that all personnel are following established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, including continuous quality improvement objectives.
- Maintain a healthy and safe working environment and ensure that all warehouse personnel are working efficiently and safely.
- 6:00am - 2:30pm
- Experience in manufacturing or a similar environment.
- Ability to liaise with all Supervisors.
- Capable of stepping into any position within the department when needed.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and know the product and part numbers.
- Ability to solve challenges with a certain degree of autonomy.
