What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate position at Carpenter & Paterson?
Carpenter & Paterson, Inc. is currently hiring for a full-time Warehouse Associate n to work out of one of our offices in Corona, CA. This position assists with fulfilling & processing orders, shipping/receiving, inventory and other duties as assigned.
Essential Duties:
- Managing paperwork from customers and vendors
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Pulling orders and prepping for shipment
- Receives inventory and store products in designated areas
- Keep work area clean and orderly
- Maintain a healthy and safe working environment
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Days/Shift:
- Monday thru Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience in a similar work environment preferred
- Ability to operate various types of materials handling equipment including hand trucks, pallet jacks, standard forklifts, and order-picker forklifts when needed.
- Willingness to learn the warehouse products
- Self-motivated
- Punctual and courteous
- Team player mentality a must; communication, collaboration, and motivation to follow through critical.
- Be able to work quickly and efficiently without constant supervision.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be in good physical condition and have good motor skills
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
- Must have good hand/eye coordination.
