Our team is responsible to improve manufacturing productivity using Digital Technology Solutions like Sensor enabled data collection, analysis and Machine Learning,

Ongoing Projects

• Generative AI Agent for Machine Maintenance
• Manufacturing Data Science and Machine Learning
• SAP UI Simplification for Plant Maintenance
• Predictive Maintenance utilizing Machine Sensors

Your Role as an Intern

You will be a part of a dynamic team, supporting the following tasks:

• Develop an application utilizing Microsoft Power Apps (lowcode no code) for managing all Manufacturing assets centrally. Connect the application with Microsoft Fabric Data Model to Read and Store Data. Set up workflows to calculate reliability score based on set parameters and logic. Develop progress Reports and alerts.

What Do We Require?

You must be:

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program majoring in Computer Programming, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science or Data Modeling
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Candidates must have the following skills & experience: exposure to sql programming, low code no code platforms like outsystems or power apps, UI design principles, and some awareness of cloud computing and Azure services, a strong foundation in software development with experience in modern programming languages like JavaScript and C#
• Ideal candidates will possess the following characteristics: self-motivated, enjoys learning and experimenting with new technologies
• Willing and able to work on-site at our Raleigh, NC location.
• Applicants MUST be US Citizens or Green Card Holders due to Carpenter’s government contracts.

Pay Range

Hourly rates are based on: 1 – Program of study; 2 – Degree type (i.e., Bachelor’s); 3 – Progression in degree (i.e., 1st year, 2nd year, etc.). The range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00 per hour.

Commuting/Housing Assistance (If Eligible)

Interns who must commute to work from outside the immediate Raleigh, NC area (over 50 miles one-way), will be paid a one-time lump sum payment of $2,400 (less applicable taxes) as excessive commute allowance. Interns who choose to temporarily relocate from outside the immediate Raleigh, NC area (moving over 50 miles one-way), will be paid a one-time lump sum payment of $4,800 (less applicable taxes) as a housing allowance. If applicable, this payment would be made during the first payroll cycle, which would be three or four weeks following the internship start date.
