What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Engineer I position at Carpenter?
Essential Functions :
- As-directed, supports new and existing equipment for repair, improvements, preventive maintenance, etc.; gather, clarify and file information to keep equipment files up-to-date
- Participates in vendor selection and purchasing; contractor selection and management; safety and environmental compliance impacting project and maintenance activities, etc.
- Supports plant utilities such as cooling towers, RO / DI, etc., on an as-needed-basis
- Perform other duties as required to ensure sustainable compliance and continuous improvement
Skills / Requirements

Pumps, agitators, turbines, compressors, etc.
