Union Floor Layer

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Floor Layers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various flooring techniques and possess a strong understanding of construction and remodeling processes.

Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain various types of flooring materials such as hardwood, laminate, vinyl, and tile
- Measure and cut flooring materials to fit specific areas
- Prepare subfloors by leveling, cleaning, and applying adhesives
- Utilize power tools and hand tools to complete flooring projects
- Inspect flooring surfaces for imperfections and ensure quality standards are met
- Collaborate with contractors and other team members on construction projects

Experience:
The successful candidate should have experience in some or all of the following:
- Flooring installation techniques
- Working with power tools and hand tools
- Carpentry skills for precise cutting and fitting
- Buffing and finishing floors to a high standard
- Basic construction estimating for material needs
- Knowledge of water damage restoration procedures
- Familiarity with cabinet installation and drywall work

Pay: $36.79 - $56.53 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
