What We Offer:
- Hourly Range: $25 to $30 (based on experience) Commission
- potential earnings of $75K to $100K annually
- Full time: 40 hrs./5-day work week (Monday – Saturday)
- Must be able to work a minimum of 2 Saturdays per month

Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding customer service & determine overall design needs
- Build strong client relationships & follow up with all new/existing customers
- Schedule appointments for in-home or showroom customer consultations
- Keep up to date with current products & services provided
- Develop design ideas, compute budget ranges & select various finishes
- Gather space/area measurements & accurately translate measurements into working designs
- Create detailed drawings using 2020 software
- Calculate number of materials & create/present project proposals for client’s approval
- Meet multiple project deadlines in a timely manner
- Collaborate with in house team of professional tradesmen
- Communicate with vendors to determine product specifications, availability & to order materials for active projects
- Provide notes & photographs to ensure clear communication with subcontractors
- Help to complete pricing updates throughout the showroom
- Utilize social media platforms to build network
- Manage time between showroom & prospecting for new business
- Maintain showroom by keeping samples, displays and common areas neat, current, and clean
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ proven work experience in Interior Design, Kitchen & Bath Design, Showroom Sales, or similar role (REQUIRED)
- Strong working knowledge of 2020 design or CAD software (REQUIRED)
- Valid driver’s license & reliable form of transportation (REQUIRED)
- Able to pass a background check & drug test (REQUIRED)
- Basic math, computer & social media skills (REQUIRED)
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in interior design, architectural design, business management or a similar field a plus
- A positive attitude & proper phone etiquette
- Ability to help grow a business & achieve sales goal effectively
- Utilize various forms of communication to follow up with vendors & clients
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills
- Exceptional critical thinking & problem-solving ability
- Strong personal & professional judgment
- Ability to adapt & respond quickly to customers’ needs/wants
- Strong organizational skills & the flexibility to jump from priority to priority
- Advanced time management skills & detailed oriented
- Ability to read floor plan drawings & create project estimates
- Knowledge of flooring industry a plus (Willing to train)
