Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding service to determine customer’s overall flooring & design needs
- Build strong lasting relationships and follow up with all clients.
- Schedule client consultation appointments within the showroom or at the client’s home
- Keep up to date on the wide selection of products & services provided
- Review space/area measurements, calculate number of materials needed, create/present project proposals, and perform quality control throughout project
- Communicate with vendors to determine product specifications and availability
- Maintain showroom by keeping samples, displays and common areas neat, current, and clean
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-3 years’ proven work experience in Retail Sales, Flooring Sales, Interior Design, Customer Service, or similar role
- Valid driver’s license & reliable form of transportation (REQUIRED)
- Must pass background check & drug test (REQUIRED)
- Basic computer, social media and math skills (REQUIRED)
- Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving ability
- Strong personal and professional judgment
- Ability to adapt and respond quickly to customers’ needs and wants
- Strong organizational skills and the flexibility to jump from priority to priority
- Advanced time management skills and detailed oriented
- Ability to achieve sales goals effectively
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- A positive attitude and desire to exceed expectations
- Ability to read floor plan drawings & create project estimates a plus (Willing to train)
- Knowledge of flooring & design industry a plus (Willing to train)
