Job Responsibilities:
- Builds market position by locating, developing, defining, and closing business relationships.
- Builds long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
- Identifies and researches potential clients.
- Seeks out and attends networking events throughout the local area and represents the Carpet Tech brand.
- Discovers and explores business opportunities through cold calling and referrals and qualifies prospects for potential new business.
- Delivers sales presentations to prospective clients and networking groups.
- Gathers useful information from customer and competitor data.
- Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating agreements; and integrating agreement requirements with business operations.
- Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
- Enhances the organization’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.
- Explores opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Qualifications
Business Development Manager Qualifications / Skills:
- Demonstrated ability in business-to-business (B2B) sales.

Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or related field preferred
- 5 years of sales experience, marketing, event management
