Job Summary
Carpinteria Unified School District is hiring a English Teacher to serve within our High School campus. The position will be for the 25 / 26 school year, beginning August.
A single subject credential in English is required.
This position includes full health benefits and life insurance.
Job Description / Essential Elements :
Full time English Position Available Grades 7 -12
Must be a highly qualified and competent teacher, who has the ability to teach all levels of English classes and is committed to the welfare and safety of all students.
Must be familiar with and able to teach using the California State Framework and Standards.
Will develop a balanced program with appropriate activities designed to encourage pupils to develop good skills and attitudes.
Will establish and maintain standard of pupil behavior needed to provide an orderly, productive classroom environment.
Will evaluate each pupil's developoment in the course(s) being taught and prepare necessary reports.
Will maintain professional competence through participation in in-service education and / or in self-selected professional growth activities.
