Imagine yourself being part of the local community as a full time Delivery Driver for our Pittsfield store. Your will primary goal is to build strong relationships with our retail and commercial customers, while delivering goods. You must possess a strong attention to detail, results oriented whilst delivering outstanding customer service.
Your Responsibilities and Duties Include
- Driving a box truck and towing up to 22’ box trailer and/or flat trailer with rental equipment, safely and secure.
- Delivery of retail products to industrial & commercial accounts.
- Delivery of rental equipment with safety instruction & demonstration.
- Demonstrate in-house safety instruction for Demo Hammers, Floor Sanders, Floor Buffers, and more.
- Organizing and executing, loading and pick-up of equipment from rental delivery checklist
- Cleaning and reporting general maintenance of rental equipment
- Assembly of grills, lawnmowers, patio sets, snow blowers, etc., for retail
- Working inside the store cleaning, building, disassembling of display units
- Checking in and out freight, assisting with the movement of stock
- Perform all other duties as assigned by Management or Supervisor
Skills & Qualities of the Driver
- Strong professional customer service skills in dealing with a myriad of different customers. Building strong relationships for the future
- Ability to drive a 22" box truck and tow trailers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Work well in high-pressure situations and to “think on your feet.”
- Demonstrating top-notch organizational and problem solving skills?
- Ability to lift 50-80 LBS
