Carr Lane Manufacturing delivers consistently high-quality products and is certified ISO 9001-2015.Position OverviewIn this role, you'll communicate with the Carr Lane sales team, our customers, internal team members, and our distributors through phone, email, and our ticketing system. The Customer Service Representative (CSR) answers questions, provides product and services information, enters customer orders and information, and works to resolve any outstanding questions or potential issues.Successful CSR's have strong communication skills, enjoy problem solving, and thrive in a team-oriented environment.Key Responsibilities
- Accurately review and process customer's orders received via telephone, email, our ticketing system, and online chat.
- Expedite orders as needed.
- Respond to customer inquiries, providing information on products, ship dates, etc.
- Provide price and availability information for standard parts.
- Process formal quotes for special products.
- Partner with the sales team on customer and distribution communication.
- Respond to customer concerns, escalating to others as needed.QualificationsRequired :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 Years' experience as a Customer Service Representative or related experience
- Strong computer skills Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skillsPreferred :
- Knowledge of manufacturing is a plus.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
- The ability to work in a fast-paced and multi-tasking environment is preferred.
- Experience with Zendesk or other ticketing system
- Experience with VOIP phone systemPhysical RequirementsRequired :
- Stooping, Kneeling, Crouching, Reaching, Standing, Walking, Repetitive Motions
- Close visual acuity.
- Subject to noise, hazards, and oils if you visit production.
