Marketing Assistant & Sales Associate

We're looking for a proactive and results-driven Marketing Assistant & Sales Associate to help us expand our reach, both online and in-store, and contribute to our continued success!

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing

• Manage our social media platforms (Facebook & Instagram), creating engaging, on-brand content.
• Support content planning and scheduling through tools like Later, ensuring alignment with our content calendar.
• Execute and optimize marketing campaigns across digital and in-store channels, ensuring consistent messaging and brand representation.
• Collaborate on the creation of marketing assets, including coordinating product photography, layout, copy, and basic photo retouching/editing.
• Use WordPress and Shopify to update website content and product listings.
• Assist with email marketing efforts using Klaviyo.
• Design social media and email graphics with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign) and Canva.
• Contribute to local marketing efforts and in-store events to promote the brand and engage with the Richmond community.

Sales & In-Person Customer Service

• Develop strong product knowledge to meet individual and store-wide sales goals.
• Deliver an exceptional client experience with professionalism and attention to detail in every interaction.
• Support the sales floor by engaging with walk-in customers and assisting with purchases.
• Maintain client records in our CRM (Clientbook), fostering strong relationships and promoting long-term client retention.

Professional Development

• Engage in ongoing professional development in sales techniques and jewelry knowledge to enhance skills and grow within the industry.

Qualifications:

• Experience in luxury retail and/or jewelry is preferred but not required.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Retail Management, Sales, Marketing, Communications, or Advertising is a plus.
• Familiarity with WordPress, Shopify, Klaviyo, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Canva is highly preferred.
• Equivalent experience will also be considered.

Time Commitment & Compensation:

• Full-time: Monday through Friday, 9am - 5pm, with 1-2 Saturdays per month as needed.
• Hourly rate starting at $20, depending on experience, plus commission and a generous benefits package.
