We are seeking a Certified Dietary Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for nutrition, health coaching, and leadership, with a focus on providing exceptional dietary services in an assisted living setting.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the dietary department and ensure compliance with all regulations
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized dietary plans
- Supervise food preparation, including special diets like tube feeding
- Provide health coaching to residents on proper nutrition and wellness
- Manage budgeting for the dietary department
- Utilize physiology knowledge to address specific dietary needs
Requirements
- Certification as a Dietary Manager
- Experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Proficiency in supervising staff and managing dietary operations
- Strong leadership skills to guide and motivate team members
- Knowledge of alimentary requirements and specialized diets
- Ability to conduct patient assessments and create tailored dietary plans
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
