Carriage Crossing Senior Living at Arcola is growing our TEAM and we are looking for people who have a passion for serving older adults. We are seeking a fun, creative, enthusiastic, and dedicated Life Enrichment Coordinator to help create and direct activities for our Senior’s. Our Life Enrichment program provides opportunities for people to achieve social and educational goals. And to participate in the life of their community.

Maybe you have experience with life enrichment activities but are looking for something different! Working with seniors is a rewarding endeavor that you should check out! The perfect candidate will:
- Be responsible for maintaining and monitoring the Resident holistic wellness program, including but not restricted to Resident assessment, muscular strength, aerobic and flexibility training, wellness education, social-recreational activities and volunteer program development and community resource coordinator.
- Adhere to and convey philosophy of supporting dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for the Residents.
- Plan, organize and implement group and individual social and recreational activities.
- Develops activity calendars and newsletters.
- Trains and motivates Care Partners to assist with Life Enrichment activities.
- Supervises all LE Partners and Volunteers.
- Observe all work, safety, and administrative rules.
- Adhere to all established policies and procedures.
- Enjoy working with seniors, have sensitivity to their needs and be able to teach and encourage them to learn and engage in the programs.
- Have ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule, holidays, weekends and/or overtime.
