Carriage Crossing Senior Living at Bloomington is growing our TEAM and we are looking for exceptional individuals to fill our Maintenance Assistant position. We take pride in providing our Residents with quality care, sensitivity, and kindness while respecting their independence.
The Maintenance Assistant is required to keep the residence and grounds in good repair in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations; maintain a clean and safe environment for residents; prepare vacant rooms/apartments for new residents and respond promptly to all repair needs.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of one-year general maintenance experience.
- Experience with drywall, plumbing, painting, lite electrical.
- Ability to be a self-starter and make independent decisions.
- Capable of following through with a project with minimal assistance after explanation and demonstration if needed.
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
- Safety and fire codes.
- OSHA, MSDS Sheets.
