Our privately-owned skilled nursing facility is looking for a Certified Dietary Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the dietary department of our facility. This includes creating and implementing menus, ordering food and supplies, and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for nutrition and a commitment to providing quality meals for our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
- Plan and coordinate menus and special diets.
- Monitor food production and service operations.
- Train and supervise kitchen staff.
- Manage the ordering, storage, and inventory of food supplies.
- Maintain records of food purchases, costs, and inventories.
- Participate in resident care planning process.
- Certification as dietary manager or food service manger required or an associate's or higher degree in food service management or in hospitality
