What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cabinetmaker - Day Shift position at Carriage House Mill?
Carriage House Mill, America’s Premier Cabinet Company is a local Entry Level Custom Cabinet Maker seeking a motivated and driven Custom Cabinet Maker. Entry Level Custom Cabinet Maker will work with a team to manufacture custom cabinets in shop. Custom Cabinet Maker will be responsible to ensure that all customer cabinetry and mill work is done to the highest standards that the company has set.
Qualifications:
- An interest in cabinet making
- Experience with table saw, chop saw, etc.
- Some understanding of cabinetry techniques
- Ability to work in a team environment and receive feedback
- Detail-oriented and excellent problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge of English and math
- Ability to work calmly in a fast-paced environment
Duties and skills include:
- Fabrication from plans of custom cabinetry and mill work for residential installation
Hours are 40 hours per week. Individual must demonstrate ability to manage details and multi task. Must demonstrate good attitude, be flexible to change, results driven, accountable and be open to results driven management and measurements. Compensation varies from $15 to $20 per hour based on skills and experience.
Personality should be willing to learn, self-driven, problem solver, good at thinking on feet and staying on the job until the job is complete. Consistent attendance is a must. Verbal and written communication skills and professionalism valued highly.
