Job Summary:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Kitchen and Bath Cabinetry Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design and a keen understanding of cabinetry, along with the ability to collaborate with clients to create customized solutions that meet both aesthetic and functional needs. This role involves working closely with clients to design kitchens and bathrooms, selecting materials, and overseeing the production process.
Responsibilities:
- Meet with clients to understand their design needs and preferences for kitchen and bath spaces.
- Design custom cabinetry layouts, floor plans, and 3D renderings based on client specifications.
- Select materials, finishes, and hardware that align with client budgets and aesthetic preferences.
- Collaborate with contractors, installers, and other team members to ensure designs are implemented accurately.
- Prepare detailed product specifications, technical drawings, and order documentation.
- Provide design presentations and revisions to clients, ensuring alignment with their vision and expectations.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new materials, and technologies to offer innovative design solutions.
- Assist with the selection and sourcing of appliances, fixtures, and accessories.
- Manage project timelines and ensure timely delivery and installation of cabinetry.
- Offer excellent customer service, maintaining clear communication with clients throughout the design and installation process.
- Resolve any design or installation issues that may arise during the project.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in kitchen and bath cabinetry design or a related field.
- Proficiency in CAD software (such as AutoCAD, 20/20, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of cabinetry, materials, finishes, and design principles.
- Ability to create detailed technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse clients.
- Strong problem-solving and project management skills.
- Attention to detail, with a focus on quality and precision.
- Aesthetic sense for design, color coordination, and space planning.
- Experience with estimating costs and creating project budgets.
- Knowledge of current trends in kitchen and bath design is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree or certification in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Experience with project management software or design software beyond CAD (e.g., SketchUp, Cabinet Vision).

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
