What are the responsibilities and job description for the CO2 System Engineer position at Carrier Commercial Refrigeration?
The primary responsibility of this offered position is to be responsible for development of CO2 rack product and coordinate with QHC to deliver new products according to project schedule which will support strengthening of positions in cold room and supermarket segment by focusing on customer value creation.
- Responsible for CO2 rack product development, components sourcing & qualification, sample assembly and qualification test to deliver a BIC product according to project schedule.
- Participate in new product research and development, innovate and optimize CO2 refrigeration technologies to enhance system performance and energy efficiency.
- Drive and contribute to cost reduction activities, make sure new product cost is on target and deliver cost competitive products.
- Ensure all product design meet company standards, especially for safety and reliability.
- Field trial/regional engineering support and engineering document preparation.
- Support market and sales on products catalogue, training & promotion materials and activities in order to improve customer satisfaction and sales.
- Master degree in relevant majors such as Refrigeration and Cryogenic Technology, Thermal Energy and Power Engineering, Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning, etc.
- With at least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably have large refrigerant racks, heat pumps product development experience.
- Appreciated to have knowledge in CO2 subcritical & trans-critical system calculation, testing, control logic and components selection.
- Responsible, self-motivated, proven teamwork skills, open-minded, eager to progress and to share knowledge.
- Good communication ability, fluent English (both written and spoken)
