Job Description

Carrier Logistics of Olathe is a locally owned trucking company with an immediate opening for a driver manager. CLO handles everything from OTR, City, Intermodal, and yard management.

This position will coordinate and direct the movement of freight and drivers to ensure timely pickups and deliveries for over the road truck drivers. This position will have a team of drivers assigned to their position and will be their primary Dispatch contact.

Schedule: Office hours: Monday-Friday 7AM-3PM. This position is on-call remotely after hours to address immediate driver needs, 7 days per week. (For example, taking calls or adjusting loads due to a delay.)

Driver Manager Duties and Responsibilities include:

· Dispatching drivers

· Load entry, dispatching, and on time deliveries

· Tracking of drivers and maintaining DOT Compliance

· Accurate data entry

· Communicate effectively and respectfully with customers and team

· Willingness to learn all aspects of the business

Job Requirements

· Minimum 2 years dispatch experience in the transportation industry

· Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task

· General knowledge of geography

· Good customer service skills

· Team-oriented with a positive attitude

· General knowledge of DOT regulations and Hours of Service

Salary: starts at $55,000 annually
