Description

Carrier Vibrating Equipment (CVE), a division of Carrier Process Equipment Group (CPEG), is a Louisville, KY-based company specializing in material handling and processing equipment. We are looking for the BEST in the industry to help us grow our business.

This role will coordinate and work well with others to quote orders, follow up, and expedite, as needed.

We are seeking a candidate who is a self-starter and organized. You also demonstrate professionalism and have strong verbal and written communication skills.

Schedule : Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 : 45 p.m.

What you'll do

Communicate with suppliers by phone and email.
Complete purchase orders from supplier acknowledgements.
Contact suppliers for follow-up and expediting to insure on time delivery.
Resolve problems (delivery, invoices, quantities, etc.) with suppliers as directed by buyers.
Handle special projects as assigned and quoting of all types from multiple areas.
Work with Supplier Document Control (SDC) to obtain required documents in a timely manner from suppliers.
Monitor and report on all copiers' usage counts to Duplicator Sales monthly.
Run and execute tasks from daily, weekly and monthly reports.
Oversee mail distribution to the purchasing department.
Update supplier records while logging, scanning and storing required supplier documents in the individual supplier folders on the network.
Attend job production meetings, representing purchasing.
File documents into the system, scanning them as needed.
Create purchase orders from approved invoices as directed.

Requirements

Must be able to speak and communicate clearly and professionally in person, on the phone, and through email.

Must be computer proficient with working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word and Excel).

Must be able to work at a desk and on computer for a minimum of 8 hours a day, 5 days a week.
