About This Role
The Time Employment Tax Manager reports to the Senior Director, Global Payroll. This position is responsible for the management, oversight and governance of Carrier’s manufacturing and salaried Time & Attendance procedures and activities. These responsibilities include direct oversight over execution of end-to-end time and attendance processes. The role will have interactions with the Payroll, HR, Employee Relations, Finance and Operations teams.

About This Role
The Time Employment Tax Manager reports to the Senior Director, Global Payroll. This position is responsible for the management, oversight and governance of Carrier’s manufacturing and salaried Time & Attendance procedures and activities. These responsibilities include direct oversight over execution of end-to-end time and attendance processes. The role will have interactions with the Payroll, HR, Employee Relations, Finance and Operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manager for 3-5 Time & Attendance Analysts
- Ensure all T&A processes and practices are compliant with company policy, employment laws and collective bargaining agreements
- Ensure seamless and timely data flow between time collection systems and payroll systems to avoid discrepancies and delays
- Collaborate with HR and Payroll to address and resolve any time and attendance related issues affecting payroll
- Ensure the accurate tracking of employee hours; Enduring the Time system accurately records start, stop and break times
- Ensure accurate employee attendance records are accurate and align with company policies
- Troubleshooting T&A process and system issues
- Ensure timekeeping issues are resolved timely and accurately
- Ensure T&A data integrity and data quality is maintained
- Support new and existing technology platforms, including input into future requirements and testing new platforms
- Support Time & Attendance audits
- Provide Time & Attendance analytics reports
- Manage T&A communications with key stakeholders
- Act as escalation point for all issues and inquiries that cannot be solved at the analyst level
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Labor Relations or Information Technology
- 5 years of Time & Attendance and/or Payroll Leadership experience
- Experience with Kronos/UKG systems a plus
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proven analytical and trouble shooting skills
- Ability to effectively prioritize activities in a fast paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
- Self-motivated, able to work independently
- Ability to effectively manage people
