About The Role
Carrier seeks an experienced, dynamic leader who will lead the development and execution of the Carrier Early Careers strategy as we drive connectivity to the Talent Strategy enabling employee experiences and career development This high-visibility role will develop and deploy a global vision and strategy to develop and retain exceptional talents within the Early to Mid-Career span.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for early career programs, including internships, rotational programs, and new graduate training initiatives that align with the organization’s talent needs and business objectives.
- Create and launch an Early Career multi-year comprehensive learning and development program for program associates, interns, and co-op employees.
- Communicates effectively with cross functional stakeholders across all BUs and Functions – balancing building standards within the Early Career PMO against Functional/BU needs to optimize program experience and shared KPIs.
- Partner closely with regional colleagues, including managers of program associates, to ensure high quality program experience for all Early Careers talent.
- Works diplomatically towards common Carrier level goals for early-career development strategies. Socializes and influences new ideas, programs, and approaches with a broad group of stakeholders inclusive of I&D, Executive Sponsors, RPO Partners, HR Business Partners and Business and Functional Leaders.
- Evaluate and analyze program data to communicate impact to key partners including executive sponsors, functional leads and the HR council.
- Develop communications strategy and materials for key partners, employees, and early career recruiters to market the multi-year development program as well as the intern and co-op program.
- Develop Early Careers Experience project roadmap on a full program timeline.
- Lead project teams accountable for executing key Talent Acquisition processes, including workflow, candidate journey/experience, compliance/reporting, and new hire onboarding.
- Create uniform and transparent Onboarding policies and procedures throughout the global business enterprise.
- Leverage market intelligence to analyze trends in the Early Careers space and propose next-generation solutions based on future-state program adoption and anticipated industry developments.
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum of 8 years corporate learning experience, in a fast-paced high-growth environment with experience in a talent specialty function.
- Master’s Degree in a related field is preferred.
- Experience with Early Careers programming and in leading development programs across countries
- Excellent PowerPoint, Word and Excel skills - ability to interpret data/information in Excel and build high quality PowerPoint presentations a must.
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Proven track record to multi-task, prioritize challenging demands, and work in a fast-paced, changing, global environment.
- Able to navigate through ambiguity; flexible and adaptable to change.
- Highly motivated self-starter comfortable leading, influencing, and innovating.
- Advanced to expert knowledge of project management, successfully managing and delivering simultaneously on multiple projects. Able to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to influence without authority, persuade and negotiate at all levels.
