About This Role
Automated Logic designs, manufactures, installs, and services hardware and software for Building Automation Systems (BAS). Our BAS, called WebCTRL®, provides web-based control and energy management capability for owners and operators of commercial building HVAC and lighting systems. Automated Logic systems are used in commercial office buildings, health care institutions, educational facilities, critical mission facilities, government buildings, retail facilities, hospitality and entertainment facilities and industrial plants. With over 200 authorized ALC branches and dealers, ALC enjoys a growing share of segment worldwide.
The Associate Director, Global Solutions Engineering will manage a team of consultant sales engineers that have the responsibility of providing pre-sales technical support and expertise to the sales team and customers. They play a key role in understanding customer needs, demonstrating product capabilities, and designing solutions that meet those needs while aligning with the company's business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for leading global ALC Solution Consulting organization
- Define and support Portfolio based solutions with defined business outcomes
- Technical Evangelist for the brand across industry, key customers and channels
- Own engagement model with leading global consulting engineers and contractors
- Develop and implement global standard work, processes and KPIs to support business growth
- Lead the development of customized solutions based on customer feedback and market trends, including partnerships with 3rd party technology providers
- Collaborate with sales teams across Carrier to understand customer requirements and develop tailored solutions
- Engage with key customers at the C-suite level to assess needs, drive brand preference and foster long-term partnerships
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure that solutions are feasible and meet customer expectations
- Stay up to date with industry trends, product developments, and competitive landscape
- Provide feedback to product management and development teams based on customer insights and market demands.
- Participate in key industry events to present key products and solutions
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technical discipline
- 10 years of experience in a sales engineering, technical consulting or product management role
- 5 years of experience leading a team, ideally globally
- 5 years of experience with Building Automation
- Ability to travel 30- 50%
- Experience in a customer-facing role with a track record of successful project delivery
- Proven ability to drive sales and achieve targets. Experience with CRM systems and sales processes
- Experience serving customers in Mission Critical Segment (Data Centers, Life Sciences, Gov’t, Manufacturing)
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to convey complex technical concepts in a clear and persuasive manner
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively
- Ability to work collaboratively with sales, engineering, and product teams
- Willingness to travel to customer sites and industry events as required
- MBA preferred
