This position can be based anywhere in the East Central area which includes offices in Indianapolis, IN, Cincinnati, OH, and Louisville, KY.
About This Role
Experienced new business development professional in Outside Sales. Participates in various Outside Sales activities and customer relationship management. Responsible for representing the company's interests and building business relationships to enhance outside sales performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Identifies prospects and establishes a professional relationship to understand the customer needs and recommends solutions and services that drive customer value and competitive differentiation.
- Participates in business development activities for prospects within defined customer segments to support the business strategy.
- Develops annual Plan To Make Plan including customer segments, target opportunities, activity management discipline, and resource alignment.
- Develops new bundled solution opportunities through individual lead generation, company lead programs, tradeshows and industry events, and collaboration with service account managers.
- Supports leadership and strategic accounts team representatives on prospective target accounts and key growth initiatives.
- Develops personal long-term customer relationships with prospective accounts to influence opportunities.
- Pursues larger opportunities that help customers optimize and modernize their equipment.
- Focused on selling bundled solutions including the full range of Carrier offerings and programs.
- Utilizes a consultative selling approach to become a trusted advisor to the customer.
- Drives growth in the MODS (service modernization projects), controls, service agreements and digital services lines of business across the East Central area.
- Drive enhanced and strategic partnerships with Carrier customer service account managers, inside sales associates, solution development engineers, applied equipment channels, other Carrier business units, and external contracting partners.
