- Key Responsibilities :
- Troubleshoot machine malfunctions using knowledge gained in manufacturing environment and engineering discipline.
- Capability to troubleshoot electrical wiring.
- Ability to troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems on equipment.
- Evaluate equipment malfunctions with a sense of urgency to minimize downtime.
- Modify equipment as necessary to improve safety, quality, productivity, and reliability.
- Provide Support in the maintenance and repair of production machinery and equipment and assist with major overhauls, etc. Equipment includes but not limited to, production machinery and support equipment.
- Ability to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electronic systems and equipment used in industrial manufacturing to include maintaining electronic systems and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Role Purpose :
- This position will be direct support to the Indianapolis assembly and fabrication lines.
- Responsible for the equipment uptime for assigned department.
- Ensure the use of the Carrier Excellence tools in increasing attainment for production equipment.
- Minimum Requirements :
- Associate degree in?
- Robotics, Automations, Controls,?
- Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
- 3 years experience in the troubleshooting and maintenance of?
- manufacturing equipment
