The Senior Manager, Communications, Engineering will design and execute a comprehensive communications strategy for Carrier's Engineering organization. This individual will craft clear, consistent messaging both internally within the Engineering function and more broadly across Carrier, and externally, to engage employees toward Engineering's priorities, elevate the team's reputation as an innovative and high-performing team, and inspire them toward Carrier's vision to be the global leader in intelligent climate and energy solutions. This role will work directly with several senior leaders and partner with communications professionals across the enterprise to ensure a consistent and cohesive approach to communications.
This role reports to the Director, Internal Communications and works closely with the SVP, Engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Development & Messaging :
Create engaging content for internal and external audiences, including town halls, newsletters, videos, and intranet updates.
Strengthen intra-functional communications by optimizing channels, improving content quality and consistency, and driving alignment and engagement across the Engineering team.
Partner with WHQ corporate communications team to promote Carrier's Engineering's story through media opportunities, speaking engagements, and case studies.
Develop messaging, presentations, talking points, and videos for the SVP, Engineering.
Develop and execute an employee awards and recognition program for engineering.
Use data and analytics to measure communication effectiveness and recommend improvements.
