Our Firm is growing! We are a fast-paced first party insurance with a career opportunity for an experienced litigation paralegal who has a thorough knowledge of state and federal court rules, civil litigation procedures, and discovery processes (including electronic discovery). This position requires excellent interpersonal skills, legal research and organization skills, the ability to work independently and collaboratively with personnel throughout the Firm, and the ability to multi-task in a highly demanding, deadline-driven environment. The position also requires strong Microsoft Office experience, attention to detail, and case management database experience.
Responsibilities and Duties: Job duties include but are not limited to:
Drafting requests for and responses to discovery.
Prepping for trials, hearings, depositions, and mediations.
Assisting with drafting and filing motions, briefs, and exhibits with the court.
Conducting some legal research
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
