Production Team Member

Plastics Division, 3^rd  Shift

Shift 3: 11pm-7am

Hiring minimum is $17.20 per hour with shift differential.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Production worker positions require the efficient and safe operation of a variety of machines on the molding production line, or assembling reels, in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. These positions also require mechanical skill, and the ability to read and follow customer specifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operates injection molding and/or assembly equipment, adjusts machines, troubleshoots machine issues, and ensures quality in a very fast paced environment.
• Follow safety rules, procedures, guidelines, and training given. Recognize and report hazards to designated individual(s). Actively participate in safety program. Practice safe work habits and report accidents/injuries immediately.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area

• Maintain excellent attendance, including overtime as required.

• Other duties as requested, directed, or assigned and fill in at other areas, or other buildings, as needed.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education / Experience:

• Prior machine operation/manufacturing experience preferred
• General knowledge of small hand tools.
• Forklift experience/license preferred
• High School Diploma or educational equivalent preferred
• Math skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of changing situations
• Proficiency in reading a tape measure
• Occasional lifting may be required
