Department: Mailroom Clerk
Duties and Responsibilities: The mailroom clerk helps to sort, distribute and deliver mail; assists customers with postage for letters and packages; helps customers with other mail services, and other duties as assigned. Training is provided to teach someone how to use UPS, USPS, FedEx and other services.
Qualifications: The mailroom clerk must be dependable, honest, have the ability to multi-task, have attention to detail and be self motivated. Some computer knowledge is helpful. Must also possess a valid driver’s license.
Approximate Hours/Week: 8 to 10 hours per week
Special Time/Schedule Requirements: Hours during the summer session and academic year are between 8:00am - 4:00pm Monday – Friday.
Length of Employment: Summer Session
Wage Rate: $12.00/hour
