Job Responsibility
- Patient Care: Provide comprehensive assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment plans for patients in Geriatrics, Primary Care, or Psychiatry.
- Collaborative Approach: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care strategies.
- Technology Utilization: Utilize electronic health records (EHR) and other healthcare technologies to maintain accurate patient data and facilitate communication.
- Quality Improvement: Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and organizational standards.
- Education: Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Licensure: Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in the state of practice and board certification in a relevant specialty.
- Experience: 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in Geriatrics, Primary Care, or Psychiatry.
- Commitment to Patient Care: Proven track record of delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and an active commitment to continued professional development.
- Nursing Expertise: Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license and board certification with a focus on Geriatrics, Primary Care, or Psychiatry.
- Clinical Knowledge: Strong understanding of pharmacology, disease management, and patient assessment techniques.
- Technology Proficiency: Comfortable using healthcare technology, including EHR systems, telehealth platforms, and medical software.
- Procedural Skills: Familiarity with common procedures related to the specialties being practiced, including but not limited to physical exams, patient diagnostics, and emergency care.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interactions with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Empathy & Compassion: Strong ability to understand and respond to patients' emotional and physical needs, providing a supportive and caring environment.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, fostering relationships with diverse healthcare professionals.
- Problem Solving: Critical thinking skills to assess and address patient-related challenges and develop patient-centered care plans.
