What You Will Do
The Office Associate for Carroll County Workforce Development plays an important role in providing reception and clerical support to the department. You will support the office by answering phone calls, scheduling meetings, and filing documents to maintain organization. We are looking for a team player who is ready to assist professionals supporting job seekers. Your day-to-day will include decisions to prioritize needs, ensuring smooth correspondence with visitors, partners, outside agencies, and County employees.

Essential Duties
- Greet and assist visitors and employees in a professional and courteous manner. Serve as a point of contact for County agencies, partner agencies and customers.
- Answer phone calls, taking messages and redirecting as appropriate.
- Perform general support functions such as scheduling meetings, distributing mail, and retrieving information. Develop and distribute e-calendar via electronic mailing list.
- Perform data entry using an electronic platform.
- Complete assigned work in a timely fashion. Accept feedback.
- Demonstrate an ability to collaborate and a willingness to learn. Participate in a supportive work environment.
