Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as an AmeriCorps Tutor for the 2020-2021 school year. As a member of our team, you will provide academic support to students in need, promoting educational excellence and community engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality tutoring services to students in various subjects
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure seamless integration of tutoring services into the classroom
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and program evaluation metrics
Requirements:
- Must be 17 years old or older
- Earned at least a high school diploma or GED
- Pass a 4-part background check
- Able to commit to 25-28 hours per week over a 9-month period
